Blah, blah, blah
GM to BTC surging in the charts as I type this!
Seems like an interesting week/Q4 ahead of us! Ready for the moon?
Before we start to countdown to our escape from earth, we have to deal with the challenges confronting us like the Blah, blah, blah speech of Jeff Bezos at the COP26 climate conference as nobody could believe him as he tries to “save” us with his donation of 1% of his wealth. It was stunning to watch out of touch billionaires with their queues of private jets, thousands of globe-trotter attendees staying in heated hotel rooms, and mass gatherings. Are our elite trying to be “helpful” by showing us what we shouldn’t all be doing if we want to deal with the climate or the acclaimed “virus” crises?
Even President Biden could not help himself but to fall asleep as we all do when listening to self absorbed elites lecturing us on how we should live. Maybe only Greta would have the courage to call out Jeff Bezos, and say How dare you!
As we were asleep, the EU was quietly and slowly discussing the creation of a military joint intervention force by 2025, ensuring it can be deployed without an unanimous decision by all member states. Effectively, preparing for war and more confrontation between nation states. It will be interesting to watch how countries of the EU will scramble to control and use the proposed military for their own ends. To what end?
We go across the pond, where the US House of representatives passed the 1.2 Trillion infrastructure bill that includes a tax provision on crypto to report digital transactions on more than $10,000 to the IRS. Throwing spanner in the works of crypto as violations of the tax code section 6050I are a felony as some lawyers have voiced out that the law could be nearly impossible to comply with given the nature of cryptocurrencies and digital assets like NFT’s. We will be watching closely on new developments on this front.
Finally, we end with the concluded NFT.NYC conference last week that saw a record crowd of 5,000 plus 3,000 person waitlist in Manhattan. It was kind of like a coming out party for the NFT community IRL (In Real Life-crypto twitter slang). Although, some wondered if it was an odd fit for a digital phenomenon, but many also used the opportunity to learn about upcoming projects, network and share drinks with the coolest cats.
See you tomorrow!
