Legacy of BS
Even the killer of Gaddafi recognizes the leftie bullshit that he spent years courting. Now am stuck wondering what happened to this No BS mindset when he pressed on with the unwarranted destruction or as his foreign policy termed it, 'intervention' in the affairs of the richest (at the time) country in Africa - Libya. See here, here and here for more information on the Libya debacle.
Debacle is putting it mildly.
An observation of the subtitle of the article from the Atlantic in the snapshot above states, 'there’s a problem with the American way of war.'
I might expand it and say actually, there is an inherent problem in the American culture and method of approaching most things. They tend to make things worse.
And with anything the left touches, waaaayyyy worse!
I don't know if the post presidency is making him self reflect or its the fact that the democrats are projected to lose very badly in the upcoming midterms elections in November but Obama is JUST NOW speaking on the ridiculous identity politics and cancel culture rife on the left.
Quoting Dailymail,
"Sometimes Democrats are [buzzkills]. Sometimes people just want to not feel as if they are walking on eggshells, and they want some acknowledgment that life is messy and that all of us, at any given moment, can say things the wrong way, make mistakes," he said, adding that Democrats should learn from he felt were his mistakes as president.
To be accurate, he never addressed the ideology underlining it, of course still a good politician he danced around the main issue.
He continued, "That’s not how people think about these issues. They think about them in terms of the life I’m leading day to day. How does politics, how is it even relevant to the things that I care the most deeply about?"
Sounds like he cares? Oh no wait! He’s campaigning!
The former president will spend the last few weeks leading into the midterms stumping for some of those Democrats, including Stacey Abrams and Raphael Warnock in Georgia, as well as Mandela Barnes and Tony Evers in Wisconsin. -Daily Mail
What’s his advice? Democrats need to stop with the character assassination.
For now and resume after midterms making things much worse for everyone.
I would consider his statement as an admission of defeat in the area of wokeness and cancel culture. They (democrats) failed and those ideas are being rejected by the masses.
However, his rhetoric is just temporarily for midterms. The establishment has pivoted to use other nefarious techniques to silence and cancel dissidents—CBDCs seem to be the coming weapon of choice. Programmable money that will stifle who gets access to finance is CBDCs.
Already normalized with the unbanking of anyone who voices opinions not favored by the establishment.
Wait till they return to power, it will be full blown communism.
See you tomorrow!
